Face masks have a wealth of benefits. They can detoxify, clarify, regenerate, and exfoliate. They are a wonderful treatment to add to your skincare routine. I prefer to do a mask once or twice a week. I like to rotate my masks just like I do my face oils depending on what my skin needs. During the summer months I find myself using French Green Clay at least twice a week and during winter months I use Pumpkin Masque and Rhassoul Clay.
After talking to a few of my girlfriends, I’ve found that they all love doing masks, but don’t set the time aside to be consistent with them. When I stick to my skincare routine, the results are wonderful and I’m really happy with my skin. So I suppose between all of the multitasking we all do and taking care of business and our families, we must make time at least once a week to pamper ourselves. Not only will we be taking care of our skin, but we can have 15 minutes of peace and relaxation…and everyone needs that, right? See which mask fits your skin type best below and make this a weekly ritual for your skin and yourself.
Masks for Dry and Mature Skin
Rhassoul Clay comes from the Atlas Mountains in Eastern Morocco. It’s sun-dried and untreated making it a great addition to any toxin-free skincare regimen. Rhassoul Clay is rich in silica which helps tighten, firm, and smooth out skin. Magnesium is also found in Rhassoul Clay and helps skin maintain moisture levels.
- Evens out skin tone

- Nourishes skin with minerals magnesium and silica
- Increases skin elasticity

Masks for Acne-Prone and Oily Skin
French Green Clay is known for its absorbent properties and removing impurities from the skin. French Green Clay is wonderful for detoxifying, clarifying, and exfoliating dead skin cells. This clay works best on oily or acne-prone skin types. You can make a spot treatment or use it weekly for best results.
Masks for Combination Skin
I love our Pumpkin Masque during the fall and winter months. It’s a great mask for combination skin and dull, tired, or weathered skin. This mask has amazing deep exfoliation and sloughing effects. Your skin actually glows and has a beautiful, fresh look after just one application of this mask. The Pumpkin Masque we carry has 3%-5% glycolic acid, Vitamins E and C, and is full of antioxidants and enzymes.
Be sure to follow any of these masks with your favorite organic face oil.
